Today I had to be at the hospital at 9am. My poor friend who came with me ended up waiting for two hours. The doctor inserted an intravenous drip first to dilute the radio-active substance. I had to laugh at the doctor coming into the room hidden behind a huge machine with a "radio-active" sign on it. Once injected, I had to wait for about 45 minutes. The scan wasn't what I expected. I had to lay on my back and go through two huge donuts. In other words, my boobs didn't end up in a box at all (huge disappointment). Hehe... Anyway... I'm radio-active now. I have to stay away from babies and pregnant women until tonight. And drink a lot. I feel fine... just extremely tired.
