I had this awful dream of a man kissing an albino chimpanzee this morning and I woke up in a shock. I thought it would be well over noon, but it was only 9.30am. Can't say I slept that much. I usually sleep on my right side/tummy. They put the vascular access on my right side though, so I have to sleep on the left or on my back. I hate sleeping on my back... I tried to do both, back was kinda OK, then a bit on the left side, but there's pressure on my right arm... All in all, sleepless night number 1.
I'm anticipating the 2nd of July, which is in 4 days already. I don't see how they will be able to use the VA as it hurts so much right now. I guess I'll get stuck with a needle after all. Hm...
My friends and I planned this little trip to the south of Belgium. We rent a huge villa with swimming pool etc... and spend days talking and cooking and (hopefully) enjoying the sun. I thought it would be a great idea for me to rest right after my first chemo. I wonder if I'll be able to go swimming with that VA now. Anybody knows?
