Me, a singer?

I went to his rehearsal place with my brother the other day. Took my laptop and USB microphone with me to record a couple of songs. It was the first time and I was really excited! It turned out to be something completely unexpected...

No matter how much you sing at home, under the shower, in the garden, in your dreams... singing into a microphone that blasts out your own voice is something really weird. It confused me so much that I seemed to be singing slower and slower because I was listening to myself all the time. And I hated it!

So much for talking my brother into letting me rehearse with him... Now I don't feel like singing anymore. At least for now AND into a microphone. Just give me my guitar (which I still can't play) and my voice and I'll be OK.
