I've signed up with eventful.com yesterday. If you havn't heard about it, it's a website which allows you to demand that a performer or a band comes to your country for a gig. It's not guaranteed of course, but the bigger the demand for a performer or band to come to your place, the bigger the chance they will actually consider your country on their tour list. I think...
I just have to do this... as Belgium is probably the most overlooked country in Europe when it comes down to gigs. Not complaining, not complaining... but Stevie (Wonder) if you hear me...
Right now I'm demanding "Jesse Quin & The Mets" to consider Brussels, as well as "Fleet Foxes" and "Puggy" (they are a Belgian band but they don't gig Brussels enough). More to come! So please, click on the 'demand' button! Jesse Quin & The Mets are a small English folk band. They're pretty good. I've heard about them cause the lead singer Jesse plays bass guitar (and other instruments) for a band called Keane. Yes... them again!
