Day -1 in about ten minutes before chemo IV, with the infamous Taxotere... Dr. Ig gave me these pills I need to take at H-12, H-3, H-1, H+12, H+24 and H+36. Apparently it's to protect my stomach, and lessen some of the side effects. I have to be super precise with this if I want it to work. Not good if I'm an hour late. Thing is, you can never really predict when the chemo will start exactly.
I spent a good week doing not much, enjoying the good weather and looking up some new music. I've just had a good listen at The Maccabees, The Veils, Air Traffic, Athlete, Friendly Fires and Late Of The Pier. All are really good. I'm probably super late with this, but yeah... Favourite song of the moment is The Veils' "Scarecrow":
Sounds a bit depressing, but you know me. I'm a sucker for these types of songs! ^-^
Anyway... got loads of things to buy to prepare for the 10 day ordeal that awaits me AGAIN, but at least I'll be rewarded with a night out to the cinema in the evening! Inglourious Basterds!
