Day +2 and I haven't felt anything worrying yet. I've been able to eat normally, in very small quantities. It feels amazing to feel no pain... yet. Yes, I'm really careful not to haste any conclusions. I have the slightest burn in my stomach. Not to be compared with my previous experiences; thank god. And now that I'm typing, my finger nails kinda hurt. But it's all very bearable. So, I'm happy! Extremely tired, but happy nonetheless!
I had some friends coming over at my parents' place. Some of whom I haven't seen for a looooong time. It's weird when you hear them speak about the little things in life, you know... household, children, holidays... it all sounds so foreign to me now. I know I'm not in this forever, fingers crossed, but it's tough when you don't know what the future holds. I live day by day, which I've always done to be honest.
