David Servan-Schreiber

I have to be completely honest. The shock horror I'm witnessing isn't just because of luck. I have been given a book called "Anticancer" by David Servan-Schreiber, and it's worked like a revelation. The only different thing I did compared to the last 2 sessions was drink 2 cups of green tea, and swallow a bit of grenade juice. Stuff he mentioned in his book.

Basically he says that everyone has a cancer deep inside, but it's up to your food habits that you can inhibit or exhibit the cancer cells. Of course it's not JUST that, but it plays a huge part. He managed to "heal" (you never really heal of cancer) of a brain tumour himself by drastically changing his eating habits. Amazing super foods are for example:

*Green Tea
*Garlic
*Broccoli
*Rosemary
*Ginger
*Soy
*Curcuma
*Tomato
*Cabbage
*Raspberry

Crazy huh? All of these foods prevent a tumour from growing more into your body. I only tried green tea properly and the effects have been amazing for the coming side effects. Even though he didn't mention that. Maybe it's placebo, but I doubt it.

At the moment my nausea has almost gone completely, only to be followed closely by stomach pains and dry mouth. I've tried several things but the gastric reflux is there and there's not so much I can do about it. Nothing seems to help. Just wait a couple of days... Once that's over, I'll be able to see the end of yet the third tunnel. Thank God...

  2. That sounds very interesting. I'm pretty sure that eating habits very much influence the overall health of a body and concentrating on the "good" things might help. Like for example that cranberry juice can prevent bladder infections in women, but not men... strange things how those things work together. So if you feel it's the right thing for you, go with it. I'm so glad that you feel a bit better this time around. Love, Silvia

  3. I knew about brocolli - it's full of anti-oxidants which are good. I must find out why they're good! Interesting to read the rest of your list Sali. And good news that you're not suffering as badly this time - long may it continue. Love, Chris
