I'm done... for real...

Still can't get over it. All there's left to do on my list now is take some pills and 1 injection a month and... a lot of REST. If I could choose, I'd be going back to work tomorrow, but my doctor just wouldn't let me. He said: I understand you're very excited about going back, but if you don't give yourself some time to rest, I mean REALLY rest, you won't be able to hold it for very long. Hm... I can see why he says that, but, I've become so impatient these days. Not very clever...

Anyway, I'm thinking about going back to Sarajevo. I went there years ago with school and it was a wonderful experience. The city, the people, the culture, the food, everything was great. I just wish I could find someone to come with me. I'm not scared of going alone, just not in the mood to get bored. See? I'm useless...! Otherwise, there's Valencia, where my parents bought a house. It's up in the mountains and that would be real rest, cause there's nothing else to do there. I'll see...

I still have a couple of doctor's appointments to go to, then I'm really off.

I decided I won't "celebrate". I'd rather have a nice dinner with my closest family members. Especially after my birthday fiasco. So this Saturday I will be making a huge lasagne for brothers and sister, parents and cousin. I already feel stuffed thinking about it!

By the way, my sister will be giving birth to her third baby this Tuesday! It's planned, but it's still extremely exciting! I need to find her a present!!!

  1. OSali, that's so exciting to read this. Surely, your doctor is right about taking a good rest. Whatever you do, take a good rest. Sarajevo sounds interesting but so does a house in the hills above Valencia.
How long do you think this 'rest' period will last? I'm not able to take days off until early April, but if you'd like to come to Switzerland around Easter time, let me know. You know you're welcome, Darling.
And congratulations to your sister for another baby.
